Pascale Bastide

Pascale Bastide started multimedia in 1991 by creating an interactive programme about the Renaissance, featuring four leading personalities of that time: Christopher Colombus, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Giordano Bruno. Since January 1993, head of Bastide Bastide & Bastide, a creative multimedia studio that brings together specialists from different disciplines. All professionals acknowledged in their particular fields, they pool knowledge, know-how and precision with a highly artistic aim. She has produced several multimedia interactive programmes. Two of the programs won an Emma Award:

-a monthly up dated cultural magazine for FNAC France, shown for 2 years, on the 'Colonne' served by 12 kiosks. Over one hundred new screen pages with animation, Quick Time video clips , music and texts were produced every month.

-a CD-rom on the Maeght Foundation, introduction to modern art through the works of Braque, Miro, Chagall, Calder, Giacometti and others. Bastide who has an advanced degree in philosophy and french literature, was formerly a film and television producer/director, with a background in journalism and advertising.
