Tom Klinkowstein

Tom Klinkowstein is principal of Media Arts, a strategic and creative new media consulting group. Clients include IBM, AT&T, Reuters, Ciba, Santoz, Fox News, Japan Airlines, iVillage (America On-Line), Conde Nast, Business Week, Group W/Westinghouse, Harper Collins, NASA, CBS (with the French Ministry of Culture), and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Media Arts was responsible for creating the prototype of Conde Nast's award-winning Epicurious Web site and is currently working with IBM on Internet-based projects for numerous publishing and media partners, including the New York Times and MTV. For the New York-based, Digital Delivery/V-Cast, Media-Arts created the interface for a new Internet video network. Mr. Klinkowstein is a Professor of New Media in the Graduate Communications Design Program at Pratt Institute in New York. Articles by or about Mr. Klinkowstein have appeared in over 50 publications in the USA and abroad and he has spoken to numerous business, governmental and educational groups, including the Magazine Publishers Association of America, the United Nations Conference on New Media, the Smithsonian Institute's Cooper Hewitt Museum of Design in New York and the McLuhan Program in Culture and Technology in Toronto.
