Koichi Mori

Koichi Mori and Steve Suloway presented the CD Rom Cosmology of Kyoto at the Open Doors 2 event at Doors 3.

Koichi Mori, production director, Soft Edge Incorporated, is also lecturer in media design and media art at the Seian University of Art and Design. He earned a master's degree at Osaka Educational University in art education in 1984 and taught video and computer graphics at Seian Women's College in Kyoto from 1988 to 1993. In 1992, he established the CD Rom production company Soft Edge Incorporated in Osaka, where he directed the CD Rom Cosmology of Kyoto, which evokes the Heian period in Japan using vignettes edited into interactive, experiential forms, based on a non-chronological approach to history. Mr. Mori has been displaying his video art and installation works in Osaka, Kobe and Tokyo since 1982.
