Chee Pearlman
Chee Pearlman was a participant in the Caring for Matter workshop panel
at Doors 3, Saturday afternoon.
Chee Pearlman, ID Magazine, New York, is editor of the American design journal
I.D, which won the nation-wide industry award for `best specialist magazine'
earlier this year. She has written extensively on topics ranging from design
education to electronic media and from movie titles to cars, as well as
numerous profiles on design and business leaders. In 1992, Ms. Pearlman
was asked to co-organise a round table summit on design policy for the Clinton-Gore
transition team held in Little Rock, which was published as a whitepaper
proposal to President Clinton in I.D.'s March 1993 issue. She is currently
co-chair of the Chrysler Corporation's Innovation in Design Award and serves
on the National Board of the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
