Andrew Ross

Andrew Ross (1956) studied English Language and Literature at Aberdeen University, Indiana University, Bloomington and University of California, Berkeley. He obained a Ph.D. in English and American Literature at the University of Kent at Canterbury. Professor Ross has held several research and teaching positions. Currently he is Director of the American Studies Program and Professor of Comparative Literature at New York University.

His publications include:
'Strange Weather: Culture, Science and Technology in the Age of Limits' (1991)
'The Chicago Gangster Theory of Life: Nature's Debt to Society' (1994)
