Wolfgang Sachs Wolfgang Sachs (1946) studied theology, sociology, and history in München, Tübingen and Berkeley. He has been assistant professor at the the Technical University of Berlin, co-editor of the journal Development, Rome, and Visiting Professor at Pennsylvania State University. He is presently project director at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Energy and the Environment.
