Kapila Vatsyayan

Kapila Vatsyayan was a speaker in the Collective Intelligence section of Doors 3.

Kapila Vatsyayan, academic director of Indira Ghandi National Centre of the Arts, India, is the author of over fifteen major publications on Cultural Policies in India. Dr. Vatsayan has been on the faculty of the universities of Delhi, Pennsylvania, Columbia and Berkeley. She has participated in UNESCO seminars and conferences for many decades. She has also served as secretary to the government of India in the Ministry of Education, Department of Arts and Culture, in which capacity she was responsible for the establishment of many institutions of higher education in the humanities.
